Work….Vacation..Work

So, before leaving for vacation I enjoyed a short and brief stint in Chicago. It’s quite the bustling city and the Wine Cellar event my colleague and I staffed was pretty cool. I saw some amazing chefs and even witnessed Sara Moulton conduct a cooking demo, which was pretty darn cool. All hosted in this amazing museum where statues of elephants and dinasours soared over the event.
We were packed up from the event at about 10 and luckily made it to the John Hancock building where we saw amazing views and I enjoyed a $13.00 vodka martini.

Rushed back home and I had to wrap up some work details along with pack and run errands and do laundry..blah.. blah.
This was a hard packing experience and in fact I wish I packed quite differently, but I now know better for next time.
Either way, vacation, birthday and time in Europe was priceless.

While Ryan and I tend to take some similar pictures I know I try to take some really unique pictures, I hope to have those up for veiwing some time this weekend.
