At a crossroads….

Today was great! I got my paper back. Luckily got a B. Phew! Thank you Miss Marcie & Thank YOU mr. Ryan.
I decided to make a nice extravagant dinner, which included making my own flatbread from yeast. I love the smell of yeast for some reason. It was an Argentina Black Bean Flatbread with Chimmichurri Drizzle. I loved making the flatbread. There is something so fulfilling in making bread from yeast, sugar, water and flour. It turned out to be quite delicious too. Wonderful flavors in it, like a mexican pizza but with a spicy black bean sauce. Paired with a nice Malbec. It was incredible.
Now baking a blueberry crisp. I came up with my own various amount of ingredients, so I’m unsure as to how it will turn out, honestly.
Okay, inspiration for all this cooking, well the worst thing one can do while at the gym is watch the food network paired with the 2% incline on the treadmill at 5.5 MPH. Nothing so inspiring to make one indulge then the food network. So then we can just immediately negate any calorie elimination by immediate calorie replenshiment, plus some.
Just this week.
- interview scheduled for a wonderful non-profit next Monday.
- Informational interview scheduled tomorrow with 3 people regarding a potential internship for a place I have dreamed of working (so I must go for it).
- Potential part time position at my dream place of work, possibly to correlate with internship
- Meeting with Dean of School to establish internship parameters depending on what I can work out with the 3 tomorrow, this is just one hour after I have the interview with the wonderful non-profit on Monday
So, the big question. If I get a great internship situation worked out, this will also complete my elective credit requirements for school. It must take place over a period of time and I have to work out with the Dean all the particulars. We’ll see. The part time job would be incredibly easy and it would get my foot in the door here, which would be wonderful. BUT, this non-profit is wonderful and I am very into the potential position plus it would be just barely 5 miles from home. The people I know there are wonderful too. But since it is a non-profit, the payscale is going to be slim.
So, I’ll have to just keep my ears, eyes, mind and heart open to see what the next few days mean and lead to. If I could fulfill school credit, that’s a double plus, but I might even be able to workout an internship at the non-profit too in case they have an offer, I just can’t refuse.
Next paper! Breezy, SO incredibly different from the last one. This one I can make actual sense of. So Phew, again.
Happy Thursday!
