To satisfy my obsession with anything to do with food, or wine or beer, I have to say Portland is definitely the place to be. With a plethora of choices for wine tastings, brew pubs and up and coming resaurants featuring their latest food fusions, I couldn’t be more inclined to entertain the idea of one day opening my own café/wine bar/ imported Beer bar/cheese/ chocolate… you get the picture.
There is no doubt I’ve always had a passion for cooking/baking.. making things and feeding people. I find comfort in food and I think most of us do. We have amazing senses specifically the sense of smell and the sense of taste. To smell something delicious baking… then to be able to satisfy the craving by tasting that results from what we can smell can be even more fulfilling.
So, thank you to Portland for being such a gratifying city to provide contentment to our diverse palates.
