Hoo Ray for Snow Days.

So the snow painted the streets of Portland on Tuesday. It was beautiful. It’s amazing how peaceful and quiet snow makes the outside world. Guinness I think would like to be out there.
Fortunately, I have the connectivity and accessability to continue being productive for work within the comforts of my home. While I may be distracted by the blanket of white on the ground, or my kitty chomping at my arm to play or the housework that I’ve kept putting off. I still manage to get quite a bit of work done. Therefore, it has been incredibly productive.
Even comfortable enough to head to one of our foot friendly favorite haunts, Kennedy School in the Cypress to share a few pitchers of beer and fill ourselves with delicious soup and pizza. Nothing like comfort food on chilly 28 degree evenings.
Unfortunately, the extra down time turns into setbacks in my fitness goals. Accumulated mass has resulted and now I have to pay for it. Fortunately, as I get back into a routine all is for naught and it’s just the time in between. So to counteract as best as possible, I go for walks in the snow. While I saw about 5 runners yesterday, I have enjoyed the muffled sounds of tires on the road and tromping around in undisturbed patches of snow, I especially enjoyed the snowmen that were displayed proudly on neighbor’s lawns. I even saw a snow kitty cat, now that’s impressive.
Enjoy the snow while it’s here, I doubt it’ll stick around for long.

Any snow still left at your place? We still have some clumps left over from when I shoveled part of the driveway. I think Phoebe misses it. ![]()
I bet she does. I loved you video of her playing in it! So adorable. ![]()
