Whirlwind of a week………….

Christmas came early for me. Last Sunday we were blessed to invite into our home a very sweet and cuddly kitty. Thanks to Grandma and the kitties they had to choose from, finally we got a kitty. I will no longer end my blog with ” I still want a kitty” because I have one and he’s a treasure and delight. He is my pride and joy and a wonderful distraction. 
He has some tabby markings that are a brown, but overall he’s black. We decided to name him Arthur Guinness, as well, if you put him into a nice pint glass he could be mistaken for a pint of Guinness… good thing the fur won’t fool anyone. I think he’s bigger now than he was a week ago and the vet said he’s going to be a good sized kitty, of course just like any parent we never want to see our babies grow up too fast, so I try to seize every opportunity I get with him. Of course…then there is school.

Yesterday was the last day of my MBA 503 class. PHEW….that had more work than I could have ever imagined. Over the 2 month course, we had about 50 articles along with 5 textbooks to read. Writing 7 papers, writing reviews for each of the articles along with a 10 page compare and contrast paper and then another in class writing assignment for our final exam. Well I can breathe easier today, because that class is OVER!
On top of that, work has been extra annoying lately with all of the OMSI craziness which will be over by Tuesday, another day in which I’ll welcome “Phew” and then of course cuddle and playtime with my kitty.
I’ve had to really compromise over the past 6 weeks, missing events with friends, missing time with Ryan, although he’s pretty self sufficient and is really good at entertaining himself, of course. And now I relish in the time I can have with Guinness. Although after the final exam yesterday, we were thrown into the next class, which will not be as much work, thank god, but since it will be Business Finance and Accounting, it’s definitely not one I’m dyng to get started on. This time there are only 5 articles and 2 textbooks and 5 papers.
Then today I get to relish in the anticipation for my dearest friends soon to be love and joy of her life, baby is due in December. We’ll be celebrating that today.
Happy Thanksgiving to All. However you choose to spend your time enjoy at least the time off, if you get to.
I’ll be looking forward to spending it with my sister and the boys.

Arthur sent an email to our house. It said “Mr. Gracie - They have not fed me any tuna. You said there was tuna. Why is there no tuna? Send tuna. You said the Large One in your house gives you tuna. The Large One in my house does not give me tuna. I wish to report a defective Large One. You were right, however, with regard to the Smaller One. The Smaller One gives me more treats. I have had far less trouble controlling her mind. I suspect this is due to her drinking less of the ‘beer’ substance you mentioned. Beer clouds the Large One’s mind and interferes with my telepathic control of it. I may have to hide the beer until the tuna is given to me. -Arthur”
I’m not sure what it all may mean, but tell R to put a padlock on the garage.
Congrats again on the little ball of fur and energy. And for finishing your MBA 503 class! I know you’ve been just buried with that and all your hard work will definitely pay off. We’ve missed you on some outings, but B and I were super glad to join you and R for the OMSI thing. Had loads of fun as we always do with you guys. Happy Thanksgiving to you and R and little A!
Snooks: Hmm….. should I be concerned???? I think I just might have to break out the tuna on festive occasions… Arthur is intrigued by everthing we eat and well, if it’s a sign from last night, looks like he’d lick our faces all night if we ever ate tuna without sharing.
Ghost Dog: Thanks so much! I have to say the nights when I do get to go out are that much more special, especially with you guys.
