As big as a building but As tender as a mouse

Zeus! Yes, king of his castle and lord over his domain.. although, the house utlimately is owned by my friends and it’s supposed to be the adults that are in charge, but for most animal owners, we all know, it’s really the pet that is in charge.

With the great fortune to be invited to share in the celebration of a dear friend’s engagment, I had the priviledge of sharing great wine, fabulous food and crazy neighborhood stories with friends on Sat. evening. The evening was brilliant, there was brie, which is what made the evening for me, oh, and the tiramisu, oh, and the fabulous wine… well, anyway the evening was just enhanced upon the home bound, Zeus just happy as a clam to see his house full of gorgeous ladies, ready and waiting his command. I had to admit I did submit to his charm and just couldn’t stop petting and hugging and talking to him. Although I think he was far more interested in the left over wrapping paper than the girls, although he preferred sitting with us under the table, versus going upstairs with his papa.

Just as I say, he’s as tender as mouse and cuddly as a bear, and as long as he thinks he’s the king of the castle, he’s as happy as a clam, but don’t try to move him out of his will, it’s just as much as a battle as moving an entire buidling.

P.S. Of course I still want a kitty.
